Bridget's first 16 days

Mike and I are both trying really hard to not be "those people", posting one million and one pictures on social media, so we thought we'd do it here. We've successfully navigated the first 2 weeks and 2 days of parenthood, which feels like quite the accomplishment, and here's what we've learned:

  1. Three consecutive hours of sleep seems like A LOT and is quite rare
  2. A 7-8 pound person can somehow increase the amount of laundry you are doing by 10 times. Our landlord, who pays our water bill, is going to hate us when the next bill comes.
  3. We are lucky to live in the time of digital photography, otherwise we would never be able to afford all the film we would be using.
  4. She is pretty much the most amazing, precious human we've ever seen.

Gramma's last day in San Diego

Since we never got our week 38 belly shot in. This was taken 5 days before her May 17 due date.
