As of today, we are four weeks out from Baby King's due date! We are excited and nervous all at once. Thankfully almost everything is complete. Once we get the car seat in this weekend, we should have all the stuff that we need, so it's just up to us to learn the ropes of parenthood. We've taken about one million classes at this point, but until she's here, it seems hard to know what it is really going to be like. A few people have been asking for an updated photo, so here I am at 35 weeks. And in response to many stranger's questions, yes, we are sure it's not twins and yes, we are sure that my due date is accurate. We have a feeling that she just might be a big girl like her mom was (9lbs 11oz).

We have converted the guest room into the guest room/nursery, but she'll be sleeping in our room for at least the first few months. Below are some pictures of the nearly complete nursery.
Last weekend we had a nice distraction in the form of a visit from Sarah. Unfortunately for Sarah, the weather was very unlike San Diego. It was cloudy and cold, at least for Southern California, all weekend. Regardless, we were able to get her out to some favorite spots and some new spots for all three of us, which included a visit to our nearby canyon and market, a hike at Torrey Pines, a visit to the Torrey Pines Golf Course and a Padres game (against the Rockies of course). The Rockies brought the Colorado-like weather, but we bundled up and enjoyed the game, and of course, the Rockies won. We miss Sarah already and can't believe that the next time we see family and friends we will be introducing them to Baby King.

We are going to try to relax and enjoy the next few weekends. Erin has her last weekend work event this Saturday, and then she'll be completely finished with work on May 2. We are sending much love to everyone and are so grateful for all of the support we have had so far.
